Disposal Manifests

As of June 19, 2008, the new AZFOG Chair is Christopher D. Kiriluk, Assistant District Engineer, Fountain Hills Sanitary District.  Dominick Jarnagin, Industrial Pretreatment Inspector, City of Mesa, has been appointed Vice Chair.  Each year a new Chair will be chosen from one of the valley cities, with the outgoing Chair becoming the Vice Chair for a year.  Scottsdale is in line to take over when Mr. Kiriluk’s term is over.

At the June 19, 2008 meeting, the idea of setting a standard across the valley for interceptor sizing was discussed.  The cities of Phoenix, Tempe, and Glendale all have very similar sizing criteria, and are going to work together with the City of Mesa to develop a standard sizing requirement.  This will be discussed in future AZFOG meetings for review.  The City of Tempe sizing requirement is posted as an example.

After much review and discussion, it has been decided that the tracking of disposal manifests will need involvement of the counties or state.  This avenue will be pursued, with updates posted on this page.
